The United States once again warned Israel about the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
On Tuesday (12), at the UN, the US ambassador to the UN, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, stated that “there should be no forced displacement, nor a policy of hunger in Gaza” on the part of Israel, warning that this would have serious implications under U.S. law and international law.
The representative of the Ameican government also said that “thanks to the intervention of the United States, Israel has taken some important steps” to deal with the “indisputable humanitarian crisis” in the Gaza strip.
“Even so, Israel must ensure that its actions are fully implemented – and that its improvements are sustained over time,” she told the UN Security Council.
