An unimaginable tragedy rocks the small Utah town of Enoch USA: Eight members of a family, including five children, were found dead Wednesday, from gunshot wounds.
Police were called to the home to check on the family, who had not shown signs of life for some time, according to Reuters. Eight bodies, three adults and five children, were found there, police spokesman Rob Dotson said.
Authorities said there is no threat to the public and a suspect is not believed to be on the loose.
“We still don’t know exactly what happened, we’re not going to make any assumptions,” Dotson said, adding that “the local community is shocked. We all knew the family. Many of us went to church and school with them.”
