Ukrainian attacks injure 8 in Belgorod, cause fire at Russian refinery

A Ukrainian airstrike in southern Russia's Belgorod region, which borders Ukraine, injured at least eight residents and damaged buildings and vehicles, regional governor Vychislav Gladkov said via Telegram. Among the people injured was an 11-year-old girl who was taken to hospital, Mr Gladkov said. Another Ukrainian drone strike earlier in the night caused fire and damage to fuel storage tanks in Russia's Krasnodar region, the crisis response agency there said. At least six Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed, but debris fell on the refinery in the village of Yuravka, the agency explained via Telegram. “Several tanks were damaged,” he said, without giving a specific number or citing casualties.
