Two teenagers were seized by the military police suspected of killing lawyer Juliano Girau in Ubatuba. The crime happened around 4 am on Saturday (19). Through images of security cameras that caught the crime, military police from the 20th Battalion suspected that one of those involved would be an individual already known in the police.
The agents moved to the suspect’s residence, located in the Bela Vista neighborhood. At the scene, they found a yellow sweatshirt hanging from the clothesline, the same used by one of the perpetrators at the time of the crime. The teenager’s mother attended the police team and authorized the entry to the residence.
Inside the property, the teenager was found wearing the same shorts used in the crime. Beside the minor’s bed were the pair of sneakers and the socks identical to the filming. The teenager denied any participation in the murder.
In the room was also found a cell phone with the victim’s photo injured by a firing in his hand.
The team received information that another minor involved in the crime lived on a nearby street. With the arrival of the police, the teenager fled. Still, the minor’s mother recognized him in filming. Then the minor performed at the police station.
Following the registration of the offense, both adolescents remained seized, available to the court. One of those involved has several occurrences, the first to 10 years for theft, as well as receiving vehicle theft, occurrences of aggression inside the Casa Foundation, drug trafficking, receiving motorcycle theft and theft of passerby.

Lawyer Juliano Girau was shot dead during a robbery at dawn on Saturday (19) at Praia Grande, in Ubatuba, on the north coast of São Paulo. Security cameras caught the criminals approaching the tourist group, announcing the robbery, firing and then fleeing.
According to the registration of the occurrence, the lawyer and two friends – all tourists from São Gonçalo de Sapucaí, Minas Gerais – were on the beach around 4 am when they were approached by four hooded and armed suspects.
The criminals announced the robbery and demanded the belongings of the victims, who obeyed and delivered. However, one of the criminals would have demanded that the lawyer unlock the cell phone. Due to the nervousness, he would not have succeeded, when he was hit by the shots. Following, the criminals fled carrying cell phones, wallets and jewelry.
The lawyer could not resist the injuries and died on the spot. One of his friends was shot in hand and is hospitalized for surgery.
The Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) reported that the case was registered as a murder at the Ubatuba Police Station and that investigations are still in progress to identify and locate those responsible for the crime.
