Three suspected members of the militia coordinated by Luís Antônio da Silva Braga, known as Zinho, were captured in the act this Friday (15) by police officers from the Police Station for the Repression of Organized Criminal Actions (Draco). Anderson de Oliveira Pereira and Luiz Carlos Borges Neves Neto were found carrying a pistol, vest covers and military uniforms.
A stolen vehicle and motorcycle with falsified documentation were also seized.
The prisoners were charged with forming a private militia, illegal possession of a firearm, tampering with a motor vehicle and receiving stolen goods. They are now available to the courts.
Investigations continue to identify and capture the other members of the groupcriminal group led by Zinho, who was considered the most wanted militia member in Rio de Janeiro and handed himself in to the Federal Police in December last year.
