Authorities have recovered the bodies of two of the missing workers who were on the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore when it collapsed, Colonel Roland L. Butler Jr., superintendent of the Maryland State Police, said Wednesday (27). ).

“Divers recovered two victims of this tragedy who were trapped inside the vehicle,” said Butler Jr. He said the Maryland State Police have notified the families of the victims.
The accident happened in the early hours of Tuesday (26), in Baltimore, United States. A cargo ship lost power before colliding with the bridge.
At the moment of impact, eight people were on top of the structure – all of them were working on construction work on the bridge. Two were rescued alive and six were presumed dead by authorities.
The workers were from Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras, officials said.
