Speaking to Turkish TV station Haber Global, Turkish retired and now TV analyst Erdogan Karakus called on the government of Recep Tayyip Erdogan to declare as Turkish, the airspace over all areas covered by the newly created Blue Homeland doctrine.
“Above the Blue Homeland that we have carved out is there an open Blue Homeland?” he wonders. “We notified the United Nations about our continental shelf,” he replies. And he continues: “Do we have airspace over it? No. But why don’t you announce it?”
“The first priority is to implement the strategy of isolating Greece,” he says.
And he adds: “Look, now we have Russia in our pocket. Russia, you know, was the biggest supporter of Greece, and today Russia is in our pocket.”
