Five Afghans were found dead today, with stab wounds, in an apartment in Ankara, as reported by the Anadolu Agency and relayed by the Athens News Agency.
According to Turkish state broadcaster TRT, the lifeless bodies had been lying for days inside the residence, which is located in Altintag district, northeast of the capital.
No evidence has been released so far by investigators.
The office of the Ankara prefect tweeted that an investigation is underway into the deaths of the five Afghanswithout the cause being clarified yet.
Images broadcast by Turkish media showed police officers and forensics officers from the police’s criminal investigation department at the entrance and outside of a high-rise building.
A police team went to the scene earlier today after being alerted by relatives of the Afghans, who had not been heard from.
