The reduction of some of the duties imposed on foreign spare parts for domestic cars has been made today by the government of US President Donald Trump, with the aim of alleviating their impact, according to officials. “President Trump is building a major partnership with both domestic car manufacturers and great American workers,” Commerce Minister Howard Latnik said in a statement released by the White House. “This agreement will be a major victory for the president’s commercial policy, as it will reward companies that are already constructing US territory, while giving space to manufacturers who have expressed their commitment to invest in America and expand domestic production,” the Wall -based production adds.
