Trump says Putin must “stop shooting” and sign agreement

United States President Donald Trump continued to express his frustration on Sunday (27) with President Vladimir Putin for launching a missile attack against Kiev and said he could not say for sure whether the Russian leader took the end of the war seriously.

“I think the meeting went well. We’ll see what happens in the coming days. We’ll probably learn a lot. I was very disappointed by the missiles flying near Russia,” Trump said as he left New Jersey.

Putin, he said, needed to show commitment to the end of the war.

“I want him to stop shooting, feel and sign a deal,” said Trump.

“I believe we have the limits of an agreement, and I want him to sign him, end it and just go back to life,” he added.
