US President Donald Trump today assured that the US is exerting “strong pressure” in Russia with the aim of ending the war in Ukraine, estimating that Moscow would make a “large concession” by agreeing not to conquer the whole country. “We are putting strong pressure on Russia,” the US president said at the reception of Norwegian Prime Minister Yonas Gar Spring the White House Oval Office. Asked by a journalist what concession is willing to make Moscow, Trump replied “stop the war” and continued “stop, (so) not to take the whole country”, stating that in his view it was a “large concession” on behalf of Russia.
