“Did anyone watch something called a debate last night? That was big. But as you saw on television last night, we had a great victory against a man who is truly seeking to destroy our country,” Trump said during the speech.
The Republican added: “Despite the fact that Joe Biden spent the entire week at Camp David resting, working, studying; he studied a lot, he studied so much that he didn’t know what the hell he was doing.”
Trump, who is just three years younger than Biden, continued to argue that Biden is not too old to be president and instead said he was “incompetent.”
“Joe Biden’s problem is not his age; it’s nothing like him, he has no problem beyond his competence, he is grossly incompetent. You know, they keep saying old man, I know people who are much older than him who are doing unbelievable things,” Trump said.
