Trump asks to stop the count

The vote count continues in the US pending a definition. In the state of Pennsylvania, which grants 20 electoral votes, President Trump leads with 50.4% of the votes (3,224,104) and Biden has 48.3% (3,088,402), with approximately 89% of the votes counted.

In Georgia, where with 96% of the votes counted, the difference in favor of Trump is almost 20,000 votes, an official affirmed that there are still 61,367 votes by mail without counting, which they expect to count in the next few hours.

The President Trump sent a message on Twitter asking for the vote counting to be stopped, although he was not more specific. “Stop the count,” Trump said.

The president’s campaign said that today at 16:30 GMT they will make a “big announcement” from Las Vegas. It would be a lawsuit for the elections in Nevada.

The data so far leaves Joe Biden at the gates of the White House as he only needs confirmation of his leadership in Nevada and Arizona. A change in the voting trend in Pennsylvania or Georgia would be an irreversible blow to Trump’s four-year aspirations.
