Travis Scott in Rome brings Kanye West on stage (and the result is an earthquake)

They were in 70 thousand at the Circus Maximus in Rome, on August 7, to attend the second Italian date of Travis Scott. A concert announced almost as a surprise, just a few weeks ago, which fans certainly didn’t miss out on. Camp outside the location, already from the day before, and say hello to the singer a few hours before the show, from roof of his mini van stopped in Roman traffic, they even caused a small earthquake in the capital. And it’s not a metaphor because the movement of thousands of people gave the residents of the area the feeling that there was some seismic tremor. Nothing strange for those accustomed to Scott’s live shows who, however, hhe decided to amaze the Italian fans by bringing an exceptional guest star on stage: Kanye West.

The rapper had been spotted a few days ago, in the company of his wife Bianca Censori, in Florence as he strolled through the streets of the center, tasting an ice cream. Many – given the friendship that binds him to Travis Scott – had hoped to see him in Rome to perform with him. And expectations have not been disappointed. The singer, with his face covered, presented himself completely dressed in black first to sing some of his songs, including Praise God And Can’t Tell Me Nothing. The public feels the weight of such an important guest, but Scott himself also feels it who, in announcing him, says: “There would be no Travis Scott without Kanye West”. And, knowing the ego of Fade’s interpreter, we imagine that it was not easy for him to play the host and not the protagonist, but in the end, judging by the chemistry during the performance, West apparently understood that the Circus Maximus was there for Scott and not him.

The enthusiasm throughout the concert was like that of the glories of Astroworldbut fortunately there was no other reference to that concert, even when someone, in the general crowd, thought it best to spray a pepper spray to create a little ‘panic. Alarm immediately returned and the concert went smoothly until the end for everyone’s happiness.
