Between the two victims of Girocopter’s accident that occurred on Areias Alvas Beach located between the municipalities of Tibau and Grossos, on the coast of the white coast of Rio Grande do Norte, on the afternoon of Monday (21), one of them was the pilot Flavius Neves.
The pilot identified himself on social networks as “traveler nomad showing the beauty of our country, flying from Girocopter, MotPlanet, helicopter, broom, etc.”
Flavius died at age 66 and was a flight instructor at the Aeromodelling Club and Experimental Aviation Aero Flores in Ceará.
In addition, he was the creator of the Costa Esmeralda Aeronautical Condominium, where residents can leave their aircraft, present in Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Norte. According to the group’s representatives, he was “a great reference in national aviation.”

The Military Police were fired shortly after the incident. So far, it is not known the cause of the accident.
Firefighters teams removed the victims of the hardware and the Technical-Scientific Institute of Expertise (ITEP) removed the bodies of the place.
