Two people died and another person was injured after a three-vehicle crash involving a trailer tanker which carried fuel. The tragic accident occurred when guide of a vehicle with a flat tire stopped in the right lane of the Northeast Extension of Interstate 476 in Worcester Township and a passing motorist stopped with hazard lights to assist Saturday morning, police told WPVI.
The tanker driving behind them was unable to stop in time and crashed into the two vehiclescausing a huge fire, the police announced. The driver of the tanker and the driver of the second vehicle died instantly, reports the New York Post.
The driver of the first vehicle was taken to a local hospital, with no word on his condition. The victims have not yet been identified, yet.
