A 35-year-old father died yesterday in France and his three-year-old child was seriously injured in an inflatable toy accident at a water amusement park in Var.
Yesterday afternoon a 20m-tall inflatable structure at Wonderland Waterpark in the tourist town of Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Bomme was swept through the air by a 50m jump with two people inside, firefighters explained.
When paramedics arrived, both were in cardiac arrest. Heart function returned and they were airlifted to a hospital, but the father eventually succumbed, as reported by the Athens-Macedonian News Agency.

“How could a marine park that we welcomed into our country to bring joy, happiness to children turn into a death machine that tore apart a family? That’s what the investigation will tell us,” which is being conducted by Draginyan’s prosecutor’s office, the city’s mayor wrote on Facebook.
According to the meteorological service, the wind was blowing at a speed of 55 kilometers per hour in the area yesterday. The entire region was on red alert for wildfires due to the wind.
