Total exchange flow in November until the 11th is positive at US$ 1.8 billion

After ending October with net inflows of US$ 1.254 billion, the country registered a positive foreign exchange flow of US$ 1.889 billion in November, up to the 11th, informed this Thursday (17th) the Central Bank.

The financial channel showed net inflows of US$ 1.126 billion in the period. This is the result of contributions in the amount of US$ 19.012 billion and withdrawals totaling US$ 17.886 billion. The segment brings together foreign direct and portfolio investments, profit remittances and interest payments, among other operations.

In foreign trade, the November balance, up to the 11th, was positive at US$ 763 million, with imports of US$ 7.052 billion and exports of US$ 7.815 billion. Exports include US$ 824 million in Advances on Exchange Contracts (ACC), US$ 1.324 billion in Prepayments (PA) and US$ 5.667 billion in other inflows.

Accumulated for the year

The exchange flow for the year up to November 11 was positive at US$ 20.479 billion. In the same period of last year, the result was positive at US$ 15.780 billion. Already in the closed year of 2021, there was a net inflow of US$ 6.134 billion.

The net outflow through the financial channel was US$ 14.689 billion. The result is the result of investments in the amount of US$ 499.403 billion and withdrawals totaling US$ 514.092 billion. The segment brings together foreign direct and portfolio investments, profit remittances and interest payments, among other operations.

In foreign trade, the accumulated annual balance was positive at US$ 35.168 billion, with imports of US$ 203.933 billion and exports of US$ 239.101 billion. Exports include US$ 30.342 billion in Advances on Exchange Contracts (ACC), US$ 53.287 billion in Advance Payments (PA) and US$ 155.472 billion in other inflows.
