Tornado Cash Mixer Launches Updated Nova Pool

The developers of one of the most popular transaction mixing services ETH Tornado Cash have announced the launch of an updated pool called Nova.

According to an article on the Tornado Cash blog, the user experience in the Nova pool has been improved. In addition, users will now be able to deposit and withdraw arbitrary amounts of ETH, which should increase customer anonymity.

“Previously, all Tornado Cash pools had one thing in common – they could only deposit and withdraw fixed amounts of certain tokens. With the advent of the Nova pool, this feature is a thing of the past, ”the article says.

In addition, Nova allows transactions to be carried out without the need to withdraw tokens from the pool itself. To reduce fees and speed up transaction confirmation, the xDai Chain will be used.

This will be the next step towards a larger update for Tornado Cash v3. There is no timeframe for its implementation yet, but it is reported that it will be possible to “use atomic swaps in protected pools.” Pools for working with ERC-20 and NFT tokens should also appear.

Currently, the Nova pool is in beta testing with a maximum transaction volume of 1 ETH. Although, as noted by the developers, if the community votes to raise this limit, then they are ready to accommodate.

At the end of November, the Tornado Cash developers announced the preparation of the service for work with the second level Arbitrum solution for the Ethereum network.
