President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) told the CNNthis Friday (11), that the agenda of the meeting he will have with Russian President Vladimir Putin will be diversified and that Brazil has no problems with conflicts.
“Our trip to Russia is also out of respect, as I was invited by Vladimir Putin last year. Our foreign policy has always been for peace and respect for the sovereignty of other countries. Brazil has no problems in South America and has always opted for peaceful ways to resolve external conflicts. I go to Russia by invitation, trade and peace,” he stressed.
Regarding the commitments in Moscow, Jair Bolsonaro highlighted that he will have a very diverse agenda.
“We will have a very eclectic agenda. We will address the interests of both countries: in the area of energy, trade, agribusiness (fertilizers) and defense. Will be with me, among other ministers, the minister [da Defesa] Braga Netto”.
President Jair Bolsonaro will travel on Monday (14), early in the evening. The visit to President Vladimir Putin will be on the morning of the 16th.
The meeting will only be attended by the two heads of state and the translators. Then, they will make a speech of up to 15 minutes each.
Also on Wednesday, a lunch will be offered to the Brazilian president at the headquarters of the Russian government, the Moscow Kremlin. After the event, Jair Bolsonaro will have a meeting with the president of the lower house of parliament. He will then participate in an event with local businessmen.
