At the moment, the only official way to get insider (test) builds of new versions of Windows, including Windows 11, is to register a Microsoft account and link it to a computer. But the OfflineInsiderEnroll script appeared on GitHub, which allows you to activate “insider mode” on a computer, even without an account. It is published on GitHub.
The OfflineInsiderEnroll script works extremely simply: you need to run it as an administrator, and then select the required channel in the Windows Insider (Developer, Beta or Release Preview). After that, you need to restart your computer.
The developer emphasizes: the Windows Insider program requires that the full telemetry collection be enabled on the computer – if it is not there, then some builds of the system for preliminary testing may simply not appear in the update center.
Also, OfflineInsiderEnroll provides a separate option in case the user wants to stop receiving insider assemblies and return the default settings.
