The building that will house 4 associations for the disabled will be the first building to be erected in Elliniko.
The presentation was made yesterday by the CEO of Lamda Development Odysseas Athanassiou, in the presence of the Minister of Labor and Social Insurance K. Hatzidakis, the Minister of Development and Investment Adonis Georgiadis and the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Domnas Michalis
It is a complex of 11,000 sq.m., in an area of 7,400 square meters where four associations providing care to people with disabilities will be located: Amymoni, Hermes, NIKI – Victor Artant and SAMSKP.
The project has a total budget of 15 million euros and its completion is expected within 2023.
It is a modern, internationally innovative building of sustainable design and the goal set from the beginning was to meet fully and with respect to the essential and functional needs of the citizens with disabilities, to whom it is addressed.
The project has gone through an extremely complex and complex design and licensing process, during which Lamda managed to overcome many obstacles and make decisive progress in the implementation of the project.

A typical example was the need to relocate an existing main rainwater drain found at the site.
The relevant works started in September 2021 and will be completed in December, while the study prepared by Lamda had to be considered by the technical works directorate of the Attica Region and by the Central Archaeological Council.
As indicative elements of the very large volume of studies and licensing, it is stated that more than 10 studies were required (among others, sustainable design, pipeline transportation, altitude, etc.). Also, communication and cooperation with a number of public and wider public sector entities was required, such as KAS, KESA, Ministry of Infrastructure, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Health, Natural Gas Distribution Company, Attiko Metro.
