The Federal Revenue opens, this Friday (22), the consultation of the 3rd batch of refund of the 2022 Income Tax. The new batch must be paid on the last business day of the month, next Friday, the 29th.
The consultation must be available from 10 am on the Federal Revenue website or through the e-CAC Portal.
The amounts must be credited to the taxpayers’ account with monetary correction by the basic interest rate, the Selic, currently at 13.25% per year – the highest since 2017.
According to the Federal Revenue, 34 million statements were received in 2022, with more than 2 million ending up in the fine mesh.
In the case of fine mesh, the taxpayer has a period of five years to make the correction, as long as the declaration is not being inspected.
The third batch must pay approximately R$ 6 billion. There are still two more lots to be discounted, on August 31 and September 30, respectively.
The refund will be deposited in the bank account informed in the Income Tax Return. If, for some reason, the credit is not carried out, as in the examples of a deactivated account, the amounts will be available for redemption for up to one year at Banco do Brasil.
