Danilo Gentili revealed on his talk show “The Noite”, on SBT, that he was diagnosed with autism more than a year ago.
The statement took place while the presenter was interviewing Amanda Ramalho, guest of the night. During the conversation, the journalist commented on the late diagnosis of autism that she recently received.
Without detailing how the discovery process went or when their suspicions began, Gentili said that the revelation was just over a year ago.
“Did you know that I was also [diagnosticado]? It’s been a year or so and I took a test and they diagnosed me with autism spectrum level. They told me that I would need to do other follow-up exams to see what the level was, but I didn’t want to. If I’m autistic, I don’t want to know, I’m already like that and gone”, declared Danilo.
Late diagnosis
Recently, actress Letícia Sabatella said that she was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), level one, at the age of 52.
“When I was nine years old, all the girls at school stopped talking to me because of my appearance, I didn’t understand why,” he said.
The actress revealed that she has sensory hypersensitivity, especially auditory. When she hears a lot of noise, she becomes ill. “It looks like an attack”, she explained in an interview with “Fantástico”.
On her social network, she has been receiving many identifying messages. “I wanted so much for this moment of global visibility for autistic women diagnosed in adulthood. Feel hugged with great affection”, they wrote.
