There was transparency in the election, says Milei’s party after the end of voting in Argentina

Javier Milei’s party, La Libertad Avanza, recognized that the second round of Argentina’s presidential election, this Sunday (19), was transparent and took place without interference, as expected and promised by the country’s authorities.

“Our inspectors were controlling the election step by step. We have nothing to highlight about the things that happened along the way. So far, we have had a transparent election, controlled and monitored by both parties and electoral proposals”, said Guillermo Francos, party advisor.

He also thanked the party inspectors and those from the opposition, linked to Kirchnerism, for their work today. And he also said he was waiting “with great confidence” for the results.

Sergio Massa’s party, Unión por la Patria, also highlighted transparency in this Sunday’s vote.

A few minutes after the end of the elections, the national senator for the province of Buenos Aires, Juliana Di Tullio, and the Minister of Tourism, Matías Lammens, gave institutional statements on the issue.

She thanked the security forces for their work today, the postal workers and the inspectors from both political parties: “They will guarantee the popular will”.

The senator highlighted: “We saw that the same proportion of voters voted on this day and this reaffirms to us that Argentines are men and women committed to the electoral processes and our democracy”.

In addition to them, myMinister of Tourism, Matías Lammens, also thanked the inspectors from both parties, saying that they “are guarantors of the popular will, who guard the votes of Argentines”.
