Rabanne paraded the most expensive bag in the world. On the catwalk Spring-Summer 2025 from the brand directed by Julien Dossena, protagonist in these first days of Paris Fashion Week, the Parisian fashion week, a version of the much-loved nano bag 1969 of the brand made in 18-karat gold.
There silhouette of this accessory, combined with a dress which is also very golden with a gold leaf effect and a pair of futuristic ankle boots in PVC, it is the unmistakable one that we are used to seeing in many color variations and sizes even if in a less precious and unique version of its kind than the one that appeared on the catwalk.

It is natural to ask how much is it worth all this? The price making it the most expensive bag ever produced it seems to be around 250 thousand euros.

Dossena’s choice to produce such a precious piece is intended as a tribute to the brand’s past, in particular to the famous dress created by Paco Rabanne himself for Françoise Hardy in 1968, still considered today the most expensive dress in the world. A mini dress record-breaking at the time, which Rabanne conceived for her by joining 1000 gold plates (about 9 kilos of sparkling gold) one attached to the other, decorating the ones on her chest with diamonds for a total of 300 carats.
