“The White Lotus”: Carrie Coon joins the cast of season 3

The actress Carrie Coon known for her performance in the play “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” and for starring in the series “The Leftovers” It is “The Golden Age” joined the cast of the 3rd season of “The White Lotus” announced HBO this Wednesday (10).

The plot of Mike White creator of the series, will follow a new group of guests at another White Lotus property.

The new season will be set in Thailand and will begin filming in February, in the cities of Koh Samui, Phuket and Bangkok.

HBO has partnered with the Tourism Authority of Thailand to support the filming and promotion of the series' third season.

The first part of the anthology series premiered in July 2021 and was set in Hawaii. The production received 20 Emmy® nominations in 13 categories and had ten wins, the most of any program that year, including Best Miniseries. The second season premiered in December 2022 and was set in Sicily.

The third season arrives on HBO Max in 2025.
