Asus has officially announced the date for the announcement of Zenfone 8 smartphones – the premiere will take place on May 12. Moreover, in the announcement teaser, the emphasis is on the small dimensions of the model. The slogan reads “Large in performance, compact in size.”
There will be several models in the line, but Asus is focusing on the Zenfone 8 mini, which will combine a small 5.9-inch screen and the top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 platform. The latter needs adequate cooling, which, in turn, takes up a lot of space. How all this will be implemented in Zenfone 8 mini is a question. It can also be assumed that this model will not receive a large-capacity battery – just the dimensions will not allow it.
