The fanatical fans of The Simpsons they report that the famous series made yet another “prophecy” namely that it predicted the historian heatwave which sweeps her Britain and has created many problems.
As 40s hit London, with their Britons to be faced with a phenomenon foreign to themfans of the show have shared a number of snaps from old episodes that ‘predicted’ the heatwave.
Several Twitter users posted a quote from the season six episode “Bart of Darkness”, in which Hans Mollemann comes out of his house and says hello to ‘Mr Sun’, before setting himself on fire in the heat.
Others shared snapshots of “Poppa’s Got a Brand New Badge” Season 13 Finalewhich begins with a heat wave hitting Springfield.
“The Simpsons predicted this,” wrote one fan of the series alongside a clip from the episode which shows ink melting from a newspaper whose front page reads: “The heat wave continues.”
