The third “Orphan” film is in development with the return of Isabelle Fuhrman as Esther . According to Variety, the news will be announced at the American Film Market, which starts this Tuesday (5) and runs until November 10 in Las Vegas, in the United States.
“[A produtora] Dark Castle is excited to announce another terrifying chapter in the ‘Orphan’ saga. With the prior success of the first two films and another exciting storyline, we are confident that ‘Orphan 3’ will be a must-see film for both current fans of the franchise and new fans,” said Norman Golightly, co-CEO of Dark Castle Entertainment.
More details about the production, such as the plot, cast, start of recording and expected release date, have not yet been revealed.
The first film in the franchise was released in 2009 and became a “cult horror”. The second arrived in theaters more than a decade later, in 2022.
