The Observer, the world’s oldest Sunday newspaper, is for sale, Sky News reported Guardian Media Group is in talks with Tortoise Media, a startup founded in 2019, to sell the Observer, according to the same source. Guardian Media Group chief executive Anna Bateson said: “This is an exciting strategic opportunity for Guardian Media Group.
