The Kremlin does not confirm scenarios for Putin’s re-candidacy for the presidency

The Kremlin announced today that it knows nothing about the Kommersant newspaper report, according to which the Russian president Vladimir Putin will announce next month that will run again in the presidential election which will be held in March.

The press representative of the Kremlin made this statement to journalists during a telephone briefing, as reported by APE-MPE. Today’s publication Kommersant newspaper, reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin may next month hint that he will run for president in 2024. Putin, to whom the Boris Yeltsin had handed over the presidency on the last day of 1999, he has already served as president more than any other Russian leader after Joseph Stalin, surpassing Leonid Brezhnev’s 18-year tenure.
