Xiaomi released Mi Note 10 Lite in the first half of 2020, it was originally available with MIUI 11 skin based on Android 10, but was soon updated to MIUI 12 and now the smartphone has started receiving Android 11.
Interestingly, the smartphone is not sold in China and India, which are the largest markets for Xiaomi, but in the rest of the world there are as many as four versions of Xiaomi, including the Russian one. The global version started receiving the Android 11 update with the version number V12.1.1.0.RFNMIXM. This is a stable beta version, which is available for selected users, but if there are no problems, it will soon be available to everyone. Sources believe that an update for the Russian version will be released in the coming days.
Typically Xiaomi releases two Android updates and three MIUI updates for its mid to high end devices. Hence, the Mi Note 10 Lite should receive Android 12, as well as MUI 13 and MIUI 14.
