“The First Prophecy” hits Brazilian cinemas in April and will shed light on the origins of a character from the horror classic “The prophecy” .
The title is a prequel to Richard Donner's plot, that is, it is a story before the 1976 work.
“The prophecy” shows the trajectory of the family of an American diplomat who decides to adopt a newborn of unknown origin after hiding from his wife that their child was stillborn.
The new film tells the origin of baby Damien by telling the story of Margaret Daino, a young American sent to Rome to begin a life of service to the church.
There, she encounters darkness that makes her question her own faith, as well as revealing a terrifying conspiracy that aims to give birth to evil incarnate.
The film will also show the antichrist's relationship with Italy.
“The First Prophecy” is starred by Nell Tiger Free , Bill Nighy, Ralph Ineson and Brazilian Sonia Braga . The premiere is scheduled for April 4th.
