The Estonian Navy captured a Russian “shadow fleet” oil tanker in the Baltic Sea

The Estonian Navy today arrested a oil tanker destined for Russia, which was included in a list of EU sanctions, accusing it of sailing without a valid country flag. The ship, the “Kiwala”, is under the EU sanctions from February as part of Russia’s so -called “shadow fleet”, a term used by western countries for ships that, as they say, Moscow develops to bypass international sanctions.
