DreamWorks’ new animated film, “The Dog Man” got an official trailer and release date in Brazilian cinemas for January 30, 2025 .
“Half dog, half man, all hero,” says the description of the film, which is an adaptation of the best-selling book in the US of the same name written by Dav Pilkev.
The animation portrays a faithful police dog and his owner, a dedicated police officer, who are injured while on the job and need to undergo surgery that, to save both of their lives, fuses the two together and gives rise to the Dog Man.
Dog Man embraces his new identity and strives to impress his boss, while also thwarting the evil plans of feline supervillain Pepe the Cat.
However, Dog Man and Pepê will need to join forces against a common enemy.
The film is directed by Peter Hastings (series “The Epic Adventures of Captain Underpants”, “Kung Fu Panda: Legends of the Dragon Warrior”) and produced by Karen Foster.
