In the social network “VKontakte” a brand service “VK Dating” has appeared. This was reported by the VKontakte press service.
“VK Dating” has already appeared in the “Services” tab in the mobile application and should soon appear in other products of the VK ecosystem (formerly Mail.ru Group).
As the developers promise, the service is designed to help you find a couple for friendly or romantic communication. In addition, with the help of VK Dating, you can express sympathy for a person directly in his VKontakte profile.
The highlight of the service was the search for people with similar musical tastes. As noted by the developers, a unique mechanic of matching musical preferences is used for this.
The service compiles a list of artists whose tracks the user listens to on VKontakte most often. It can be edited manually, for example, remove momentary hobbies and add artists whose love is eternal. In addition, algorithms aggregate users by age, distance, and interests ranging from books and choreography to surfing and blogging.
- Basic functionality is available for free. However, there are additional paid functions of “VK Dating”:
- “Superlike” allows you to add a comment to your liking – for example, immediately make a compliment or describe your emotions;
- A premium subscription allows you to see the names of everyone who has sent notes about sympathy, return to the profiles you have already viewed, put “likes” without restrictions, and also put five super-likes a day.
Prices are as follows – a dozen “super likes” will cost 280 rubles, 25 – 449 rubles, and 50 – 649 rubles. A premium subscription costs 599 rubles per month, a subscription for 3 months – 999 rubles, for 6 months – 1490 rubles, forever – 5990 rubles.
The service was created on the basis of the Lovina application, which VKontakte launched as an experiment in 2019. The developers plan that VK Dating will take the best features from Lovina and completely replace this application.
