The Crown 6, here is the trailer for the second part of the last season: William meets Kate

While William is still coming to terms with the premature death of the mother Diana, at Eton College, the other students, affected by his loss, show themselves increasingly caring and attentive to him. This is told in the trailer, just released by Netflix, of the second part of the sixth and final season of The Crown: The final six episodes of the iconic series will be available on December 14, 2023.

Even at the University of St Andrew’s, William continues to feel the tiring conflict between his life as a monarch and that of a young student, trying to experience the traditional university rites of passage, despite all the limits imposed by his position and the constant presence of security officers. The balance that he has managed to maintain, however, falters when William develops a crush on the college’s most desirable student: Kate Middleton, his future wife.

Meanwhile, Princess Margaret, suffering from a stroke, is getting worse and worseand, as her health continues to deteriorate, she abandons herself to memories, and in particular to the secret evening with her sister during Victory in Europe Day in 1945: her mind goes back to that evening and the teachings of her older sister are of great comfort during his last days. Queen (Imelda Staunton) she is now approaching the ninth decade of her life and, without her sister and without her mother, she finds herself having to deal with the future of the monarchy and what may happen after her. On the legacy she will leave after her death.

The Crowncreated and written by Peter Morgan, landed on Netflix in 2016, and has since received 15 BAFTA nominations, 10 Golden Globe nominations (including 4 wins), 69 Emmy nominations in 5 seasons (with 21 wins in 4 seasons) and other prizes.
