After the premature announcement a few days ago, Xiaomi today held a full presentation of the new Redmi 10 smartphone for the international market.

The budget smartphone received the design of more expensive flagship models – a camera in the style of Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra and a front panel in the style of Redmi K40. At the same time, the price starts at $ 153. It is at this price that the model in the cheapest version is offered in Malaysia. For other regions, the following prices have been announced:
- Redmi 10 with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB flash storage – $ 179
- Redmi 10 with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash storage – $ 199
- Redmi 10 with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash storage – $ 219
Public sales are due to begin on August 20, 2021. Available in gray, blue and white body colors.

The smartphone is equipped with a 6.5-inch LCD display with Full HD + resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels) with an image refresh rate of 90 Hz, an embedded 8 megapixel front camera, a main quadruple camera (50 megapixel main module, 8 megapixel ultra-wide-angle, 2 megapixel macro and 2 MP depth sensor).

The hardware basis is the MediaTek Helio G88 single-chip system. The 5000mAh battery supports 18W charging. Charging of other gadgets is noted, however, wired – with a power of 9 watts. The kit includes a 22.5W charger. There are also dual speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The smartphone has an operating system Android 11 with a proprietary shell MIUI 12.5. Dimensions are 161.95 x 75.53 x 8.92 mm, the smartphone weighs 181 grams.
