Today, December 20, LEGO Russia, together with Yandex.Market, launched a creative competition called “City of the Future – # Built by Children.” In honor of this event, a special landing page was launched on Yandex.Market with a whole technological city built from LEGO bricks. This is a kind of interactive map of ideas for new Yandex services, which were invented by children – it will allow you to study existing projects and get inspired to create something unique. Actually, the main goal of the competition is for children to show their creative skills, figuring out how to develop infrastructure or create new services that may one day appear in the real world.
The authors of the competition are sure that children with their fresh outlook on the world of the future will be able to submit amazing ideas that adults simply don’t have enough imagination for. For example, already now on the official website of this project are presented the implementation of the latest services invented by children, and then assembled from LEGO bricks – “Fly Sharing”, “Cat Delivery Service”, “Flying Saucer of Food” and not only. And, best of all, absolutely any child can join this competition, having received gifts from LEGO and Yandex.Market as a prize for an amazing idea.

In order to take part in the creative competition, it is enough to draw or assemble from LEGO bricks a certain service, which, according to the child, should be implemented by Yandex in the foreseeable future. After that, it is necessary to publish the child’s work on the parent’s account on VKontakte (with @legorussiaofficial and @ yandex.market marks) or on Instagram (with @legorussia_official and @ yandex.market marks) with the hashtag # built by children (children in ages 4 to 17).
