Bolivia’s army took to the streets with tanks and seized control of the capital’s central square on Wednesday night while an armored vehicle stormed the entrance to the presidential palace with soldiers as fears of a coup grew. Bolivian President Luis Arce denounced the “arbitrary mobilization” of some army units in La Paz, while former President Evo Morales accused a top general of plotting a coup.
