Serious damage occurred in the village of Louin Mississippiwhy tornado swept through the area and destroyed many houses, while one person was killed and 20 others were injured.
According to dailymail.co.ukseveral houses were destroyed, while many residents were trapped in the debris, as a result of which an overnight rescue operation was organized.
Storm chaser Brandon Clement, who was involved in the rescue operation, said, “Many homes were damaged or destroyed. First responders and volunteers did an amazing job saving people. At some point they ran out of ambulances and started using a humvee to take wounded people to the hospital.”
