Temu’s onslaught and warning of dangers to those shopping from the Chinese app

Temu, the Chinese e-commerce sweepstakes online product company, has come under fire for the practices it uses to achieve its rock-bottom prices. Its slogan is “shop like a billionaire” and already, through the Google Play Store alone, it has more than 100 million users. Data analysts estimate that the company is gathering an additional 9 million monthly users. However, many Western authorities warn that many of the products it offers are made with forced labor. For its part, Temu “strictly prohibits” the use of forced, criminal or child labor.
