A 13-year-old teenager died after choking on a piece of meat in the city of Trindade (GO), last Thursday (24). The victim was rescued, but did not survive.
According to the Fire Department, the family took the minor by car to the fire station, looking for help. At the scene, the military noticed that the teenager was not breathing, was unconscious and pale.
Firefighters began clearing maneuvers, but had to carry out the cardiorespiratory arrest protocol with cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques. Samu had to be called.
For 45 minutes, the agents tried to help the victim. The teenager’s death was confirmed by the Samu doctor at the scene.
