Taylor Swift show breaks attendance record at Allianz Parque

Allianz Parque confirmed on social media that Taylor Swift’s concert on Friday (24) broke the arena’s attendance record.

Without publishing exact numbers, the Allianz Parque account on X, formerly Twitter, published this Saturday morning (25).

A CNN contacted the Allianz Parque press office to confirm the number of people who went to see the show and is awaiting their return.

Singer Taylor Swift performed her first show in the city of São Paulo this Friday (24) at Allianz Parque. She still makes two presentations this Saturday (25) and Sunday (26).

Disorganization in the entrance queues

On social media, fans complained about the disorganization involving the queues to enter the arena, especially for those who had purchased the VIP package.

On the “The Eras Tour” website, VIP packages for the upper chair, lower chair and premium track at Allianz Parque were sold, all of which guaranteed, in addition to some merchandise items, “priority and advance entry into the sector”.

Fans who bought the packages were outraged because, as the queue for VIP entry was not divided between sectors, this made it gigantic and meant that many who bought the package that promised “priority and early entry” ended up entering Allianz Parque after those who purchased normal tickets.

The cheapest VIP package (which gives access to the upper seat) costs R$1,250 according to the tour website, the most expensive (for the premium track) reaches R$2,250.

The entire entrance to these same sectors, without the VIP package, costs R$500 and R$1,050, respectively.

Released water inlet

According to T4F, the company responsible for the event in Brazil, sealed plastic water bottles were allowed at this Friday’s show and will also be allowed at the next two shows.

The company posted on X, formerly Twitter, that the Military Police barred the entry of sealed water bottles for a period of time, but the attitude was reviewed.

Furthermore, it is also possible to get free water at Allianz Parque, see where.

The release comes after the death of a fan during the singer’s first show in Rio de Janeiro, amid the heat wave that hit Brazil last week.

Temperatures in São Paulo during Taylor’s show, however, were low, and fans were able to cool off with a drizzle that fell during part of the event.
