Taylor Swift fans show off their looks to watch “The Eras Tour” in SP

Taylor Swift’s first show in São Paulo takes place this Friday night (24), and fans have already started sharing the looks they will wear to see the artist at Allianz Parque.

On Allianz Parque’s social networks, fans show off bright clothes, cowboy hats and fringed dresses. Looks that were probably chosen well in advance so that even the smallest details were perfect.

Most of them chose an era — that is, one of the singer’s phases, each represented by one of her ten albums — to inspire the look.

Red clothes, for example, probably reference the album “Red”, released in 2012. Black clothes and snake-shaped accessories indicate that the fan was inspired by the “Reputation” album era.

Each album has a specific aesthetic and colors that fans can use with imagination when putting together the looks.

The tour is called “The Eras Tour” precisely because Taylor intends to bring a little bit of each of its phases. She herself performs 16 costume changes during the more than 3 hours of the show.

However, regardless of the look, one constant is repeated in almost all fans who go to the show: wrists full of friendship bracelets (or friendship bracelets).

The tradition among swifties, as the singer’s fans are known, arose because of the song “You’re on your own, kid”, from the album “Midnights”. When it comes to the chorus, Taylor sings: “So make friendship bracelets, seize the moment and savor it. You have no reason to be afraid.”

As has become a tradition at the singer’s shows, fans arrive ready to exchange bracelets — usually made by themselves, with colorful beads and the singer’s iconic phrases — among friends and strangers during the performance.
