The fans of Taylor Swift – known as swifties – they organized to pay tribute to Ana Clara Benevides, aged 23, who died after falling ill during the singer’s show last Friday (17). The tribute took place this Wednesday (22), in Times Square, in New York.
The projection on the most famous avenue intersection in the United States was released by the Update Swift Brasil fan club. According to the group, the action had permission and support from Ana’s family and friends.
“Some swifties gathered to honor Ana’s memory and pay homage to all the fans who were present at the first show of ‘The Eras’ Tour, in Rio de Janeiro”, showing a video in Times Square”, wrote the fan club.
In the images, you can see a photo of Ana Clara and the phrase “You were bigger than the whole sky” (“You were bigger than the whole sky”, in free translation), in reference to Taylor Swift’s song of the same name.
