The award of The World’s 50 Best Bars happens on the day October 4th in barcelona Spain, but the extended list, with the houses occupying between the 50th and 100th position of the disputed ranking, was released this Tuesday (27).
O Tan Tan is the only Brazilian house to appear on this first list. The contemporary oriental bar of Sao Paulo appears in 62nd place, rising 25 positions – in 2021, it appeared in 87th place in the ranking.

The top 50 award ceremony will be broadcast live on social media directly from Barcelona next Tuesday (4th).
Opened in 2015, Tan Tan combines signature cocktails with recipes from “chuka” cuisine, a branch of Japanese cuisine with Chinese influences that accounts for most of the hot dishes consumed in Japan.
Now it’s time to wait for the event and hope for more Brazilian names to appear on the list.
