“This is the great thing and the great news about BBB. Registration is in pairs and participants will enter in pairs. So what could happen to this? Nobody knows. This has never been done,” says Schmidt. “Now everyone is in pairs”, he adds.
The presenter also said that the BBB25 cast will feature famous and anonymous participants, as in the last editions of the reality show.
“But the big kick is this. You go in there and you already have a bond with someone, like it was with Ana Clara and Papito [do BBB18]. But then everyone is like that”, says Schmidt. “There are many different and unexpected situations”, he adds.
In addition to double registrations, BBB25 will feature new features among the presenters. The ex-BBB Beatriz Reis and the journalist Thiago Oliveira They form the first duo confirmed as part of the team that will cover the reality show on TV Globo. The two will be responsible for presenting glimpses of the house throughout the #RedeBBB channel’s programming.
This will also be the first edition of the program after Boninho left TV Globo. At the station for 40 years, the director had commanded BBB since 2002 and became known as “Big Boss”.
BBB25 is scheduled to premiere on January 13th and will last 100 days.
