The suspect of murdering Thamyres Araújo, 25, was arrested on Saturday morning (26) in the 1st Police District of Praia Grande, on the south coast of São Paulo.
Guilherme Tadeu Silva de Oliveira Maia, 27, would have killed Thamyres in a residence on Maria Siqueira Street in Barueri.
The victim’s body was found on Thursday night (24). Her brother located the body and called the rescue, which confirmed the death on the spot.
After the crime, Guilherme deleted social networks and left the cell phone unavailable. At the crime scene, police seized two cell phones, a tablet and documents.
The São Paulo Civil Police continues to investigate the case.
